| The client wanted two bedrooms, an office, dining area, living room and of course a kitchen. The solution was to remove a series of wall sections along one edge of the apartment to create a long overlapping zone that could be used for flexible program functions. The resulting storage wall is large enough to contain a concealed office. Sliding doors, 4 feet by 9 feet, control the flow between spaces. Adjacent to the kitchen the zone was large enough to accommodate a banquette with dining table.
